About Melife
"Melife" - a combination of the word "Melbourne" and "life". It is pronounced as “Mel-Life". The message that our little young audiences are expected to receive is to realise that there are an amount of great innovation and design that are genuinely made in Melbourne and become indispensable parts in our daily life.

Cross-platform
This project is delivered as a cross platform production. It presents in multiple digital platforms: desktop for content exploration; mobile website for portable browsing; iPad for multi-touch experience of reading; touchscreen for interactive gaming experience.

Strategy
To inspire and educate visitors the design of Melbourne in a fun and real-life way, the on-show products are divided into 5 scenarios which stand for different aspects of life: education, entertainment, houseware, health, industry; correspondingly the audiences are involved in the form of role-play to choose 5 different identities to experience: student, player, doctor, housekeeper, worker.
These elements are woven into narratives to present how design can delivery knowledge and also meet the fundamental needs of joy.

How it works
The trip of Melife starts from a virtual map of City Melbourne. There are 5 different icons which stand for 5 categories (health, education, houseware, entertainment, industry) reminding users to click to explore. Or the users can just choose a role and the chosen finger will guide them into the corresponding environment they are familiar with.
